ok i gave in and purchased the cable and software.
Installed it just for kicks and now im getting a "EvoScan has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Its V2.2.
Or does it just not run without the cable, and being plugged into the car?
EDIT: FIXED I had .net framework 2.0 but when I tried to install a service pack, it says my install had missing files. W\e, so I installed .net 3.5 and all is good to go incase anyone else has this problem.
