It's been a while since I've posted here, so I thought I'd just toss up the latest event with my VR-4. I took her to the emissions place this past Saturday and for once I actually have a VR-4 that has passed on the first try!

I can't believe it went so well for a change. But, since I still have the stock DP on it along with the EGR in place and the stock injectors leaned out a few % with the SAFC, I guess I had it in the bag.
I was out of gas after the test so I stopped by to fill it up. The pump shut off just shy of $70. Ouch. I did the math versus the tripometer and found I got an awesome 16.7 MPG on that tank of gas (
but... I was still on that same tank of gas when I was running with that single turbo RX7 a while back... that's where my MPGs went).
So I get home to compare the emission results sheet from last year to this one... and that is when I notice. I have only driven this car 2,166 miles since the last inspection.

I'm surprised the battery is still good in it.
Here's to next year. Maybe I can keep below 2,000 additional miles before the next inspection. It's a '94 with 78,259 miles on it. Too bad the resell value on these cars is terrible, I'm slowly creating a collector's item.
