Yes the CAS is beside the crank sprocket, you can change it without taking off the timming belt, you have to remove the belts, Crank Pully, Timming belt covers, and then you will have access to it, held down by 2 10mm bolts, just becareful you dont get to rough while putting in the new one, they arnt hard to break. did test the CAS yet? if you take a volt meter and read one of the 3 leads from the CAS you can see if its working or not while cranking the engine. its in the FSM.
