Hi all,

I have a DOHC from a 92 3000GT SL sitting in my garage. I would like to begin a tt conversion on it eventually.

The problem is, my car is a 94 3000GT SL. I know a major difference between the 92 and 94 cars is the 94 cars have the hybrid diagnostics system.

The 92 engine is basically a drop in; all it is missing is the A/C compressor and flywheel. The intake plenum & sensors & all the ports for the engine harness are still intact.

Is anybody aware of the incompatibilities between the 92 and 94 cars in the sense of a drop-in engine? I wish it could be a straight drop-in, but the diagnostic system differences gives me the feeling that this might not be the case.
