Well that would most likely be too much of a coincidence then.

Thanks VERY MUCH for the reply. In all of my OBD-II "stuff" I couldn't seem to find any detailed info for the P1600 Code.

I may not have to pull this trans after all.

I have the TCM out now. Caps look fine but that's not really saying much.

Wouldn't a faulty ECM actually throw a code like many other OBD-II ECM's??

I'm going to track down wiring tomorrow. I feel it would be best to go that route before I yank the trans.

I'm guessing that the TCM would seem a logical first choice if the wiring looks ok. I'm guessing that with 112K on the car, it's only a matter of time before it craps out even if it is good. I guess I may as well start with the TCM.

Any other tips would be a huge help.
