I recommend removing anything you possibly can before it goes to the paint shop, unless you are certain that they'll do it. I mean the tailights, turn signals, license plate(s), and anything else that you may want painted on the outside. I'd also make sure that the fuel door is open, so that they may mask the gas cap, but paint the inside of the fuel door. You may have to pay for extra sanding, depending on how bad of a shape the paint is now.
