So, overall here is what people thought....
Performance hands down was amazing, but HIN is barely a performance show. The look of my car was amazing, from a crisp, rare VR4 perspective. Judges like flashing lights and stuff really unique. VLS is not unique if you catch my drift.
Sadly, they wanted almost $250 for power, which I wasnt going to pay. I wish though I could have powered up my carPC and shown off the interior lighting.
Things I am going to work on for next time: Polishing the entire engine and cleanup better. I might bring some "flashy" things to attract the judges better, just for HIN (i am not ricing this shit).
I did get an editor in chief of some magazine called "HotCars" approach me and asked that I get in touch with him early this week for a feature story on the VR4. I also got a full video interview from
The617.com - Boston and Beyond , video and an actual on camera with reporter style interview. I hope to see that soon.
