Re: New problem with 3kgt...
Well I had an hour or two to look at the car. I first started off by taking the timing cover off and looking at the belt. It looked good and wasn't shiny or broken teeth, so that's ruled out. I then took out the sparkplugs after cranking it over a few times and the plugs were wet, so fuel is not an issue. My grandfather then checked for spark by grounding the plug and cranking it, and no spark. I figure it's the PTU. I went to autozone to have it tested, but unfortunately, they did not have the right setup to test it. Would anyone else have any other suggestions before I buy a new PTU? I plan on buying a new one on Wednesday and replacing the coil packs as well with the spark plugs and wires. Any help is appreciated.
