PTT doesn't affect anything until the start delay has expired. The time is set up by the Enable Delay parameter. This number 0-100 is a percentage of the normal 5 minute wait at start-up. This start-up delay is roughly 5min at idle, shorter if driving around and real short if there are any WOTs.

Then is there a reason when just adjusting those settings my idle would be affected?
