I know AWS only kicks in over 31 mph. It's same phase, meaning that the rear wheels turn up to 7 degrees (don't quote me) in the same direction as the front wheels. This enables the car to make quick lane changes without excessive body roll. IT IS NOT LIKE THE GMC COMMERCIAL. In the commercial, the wheels are working in opposite phase (for slow speed turning).

The reason that the JDM cars didn't keep it resulted from its racing days where the AWS couldn't activate as fast as it was needed to and actually caused additional problems.
