umg is upper midwest gathering. there's links posted in all the midwest chapters and even on this page.
as for may, no one ever gave input. so we come to three paths
1. another BBQ (either at busse or someone's place)
2. let UMG be the event for may
3. or something new
with the BBQ, a weekend works best so we are looking at May 24 (memorial weekend) or May 31
we've tried having get togethers at the Dillon's but it was always the same peeps(Dave, Andy, Jackie, Pete, Aatif, and Ahmed) so i understand people aren't down for driving to the southside burbs especially with gas prices and all.
also, don't have internet so usually dan just has me send a text or call the usuals when we have a fire spur of the moment that night.
as for streets and strats, that stuff has always been on the fly. I know joe was there about two weeks ago and he's a regular.
Would have been there but the 3K needed tires and there was no room in the viper. JGTCA is a good time also so there's that always going on.
so moral of the story, anyone down for a BBQ end of may i guess is the question we are all poundering. if you have something else to suggest, speak up.
