In short, you dont NEED a tt ecu but i would recommend one. It has better fuel maps for high throttle settings on your safc.

I have used an na ecu with a safc and a tt ecu with an safc. You can do either. My experience is that with the n/a ecu, the low throttle settings are very easy to get perfect but the high throttle settings is where it is a little tricky. I actually had to add fuel (and i have 525cc injectors) and then when i started making real power i couldnt add enough fuel.

With my tt ecu and safc, My high throttle settings are wonderful. I have to take away a good amount of fuel (like i should have to with bigger injectors) and i still have a ton left if i turn up the boost. But for some reason at idle i need to add all the fuel (50%) i can just to be at 15 afr. THen when i am cruising i am adding a little bit of fuel which is weird because i should be removing alot because of my injector size. But I have it set where it runs perfect but the way that it is set is just a little different than would be expected.

If you are looking to make over 350 whp then get the tt ecu for sure. My n/a ecu was fine up to that point, but once i started making more than that, i couldnt add enough fuel.

Either way you will have to mess with settings to get everything perfect. If you have a wideband it will help Tremendously.
