This really sucks -

The entire differential needs to be replaced not just a bearing. The good news is the guy said the tranny rebuild was done very well and the tranny if fine - most bearings were replaced but the diff was not even touched.

The parts I need won't be in in time - he said some parts might be in but even if they were overnighted he would not be able to put her back together by Friday.......

When the tranny blew from over heating it also melted the coating off the gears in the diff - he said the gears looked blue and driving it a little longer might have caused a bigger problem cause the teeth would prob have started breaking off.

I'm pissed at myself for letting work get in the way of me dropping this car off sooner - but I didn't and now I get to stay home -
