i always wipe the filter housing face with a rag just to make sure the'res no crap gor on there also as an inspection, this is becuase its happened to me in the past but i didnt catch it. cost me a motor! i was younger then i think i was 18 and the car was an old beater so it wasn't too bad. but still its things you learn along the way.
