I purchased a rebuilt Kormex trans and it was shipped with a small crack in the bell housing which had rtv over it. Frank said it should hold but i was more than welcome to ship it back to have it swapped out. I couldnt ship it back because my association was threatening to tow it and i didnt want to pay shipping fees again.
Long story short the crack leaked fluid on the clutch. The clutch and pressure plate have less than 2000 miles on them.
1) is it ok to reuse the clutch face? I figure i should replace it because of the tranny fluid.
2) Pressure plate? I figure this is a no-brainer that it is reusable
3) what about the flywheel? I have had the stock flywheel resurfaced 2 times (2 step both times) Is it time to get a new flywheel?
