No, my timing belt didnt snap....what happend iss...

the connecting rod bearings around the wrist pin seized up and when that happend... the rest of the engine kept wanting to keep goin, then it put a shit ton of stress on the rod and thats when it started to bend and finally just broke loose.... after that it looks like while the piston was no longer connected to the crank, the rest of the rod continued to push the piston up into the combustion chamber and thats when the valves kept pushing it back down and bent the valves all up... if you look at the top view of the piston, each one of those scores is a differnet time that the valve hit the piston : /
i have to file down the bottem of the bore where the connecting rod was broke because it chipped it away, along with the piston next to it..


But then lead me to my next question... why that bearing would have siezed up because i've always checked my oil..


and no, its a black 1st gen

Any suggestions on why there would be poor lubrication to that specific spot?
