The 2 holes should be close to the top of the pulley and horizontal. After you pull the pin you should be able to rotate the engine around and then be able to put the pin back in if you did it perfectly.

Yup got all of that, I can put the pin back in just have to give it a lil bit of force to get it in but it will go in
