Check for spark, see if fuel is coming out of injectors. If its no spark it could be PTU, coil pack, ECU, cam or crank angle sensor. Does it just crank and sputter? or does it not try to fire at all?

So I am getting fuel, spark is weird its sometimes there and sometimes its not there, I tried replacing the PTU didnt help, I did not replace the coil pack, I didnt check the ECU, Today we will be checking the cam and crank sensors. It cranks but it seems to be out of timing and it just wont catch, ti cranks very easily but just wont fire up. Weirdest thing is I dont know why am I even replacing all these parts to find the problem because the car ran before I dropped it off and he even started it and drove it into the shop. The crank pulley did fall apart and the clutch went at about the same time. Thanks for any help man!!
