Default Re: Will a FWD trans. hold the power of tt?

my TT swap has been done for about a year now and my tranny just went. I had a Quaife LSD in it. I stripped 2nd gear pretty badly. But the tranny was not in great shape to begin with. I bought it used from a member with the Quaife already installed. I think the tranny had a lot more miles on it then what he claimed, seeing as how the folcrum was shot and the clutch fork was warped..

I had a spare FWD 5 Speed sitting around, so I sent it to Jack's and had a double synchro added for gears 1-4, a Quaife LSD installed and a 10% taller 5th gear.

This is only a temporary setup until I get a AWD tranny and have enough money to have it rebuilt and have a LSD installed.
