Run them with a powerful mono, the alpine 800watt rms should do. I forget the model. And as far as the wiring, run them like a christmas light string. Semi parallel, semi series. its a good, consistent setup because it keeps the ohms at 4 on the amp and allows for good power to the subs so they arent underpowered. Those subs you were looking at are nice, i like them. I might also check out the Infinity 8" Subs. They might not hit quite as hard, but they will definitely have a crisper, cleaner sound.
