I have some ideas on how to implement this, but have not had a chance to mess with it.
With the timing control arrangement, it is a "simple matter" to interupt the CAS signal going to the ECU, which would stop fuel and spark. The issue related to this is that fuel and spark delivery happen at different times, and the cylinder cutout may not be 'smooth'.
