The dog is the best one. Dont focus on the best one.

If you are trying to hone your photography, you should focus on the quality of the original image itself. (And its commendable to put it out there to receive critisizm) The chopping can be done later.
You kind of know when you see the original image right after download, if its got that impact. And there are some times where you look at it and say "Ughh, if only that part was a little different." Then you bring in the PS... But its never as satisfying as pulling down the pictures and saying "thats the one."
I think they look great, despite the background comments. Keep shooting. Every memory card, they get better.
