I recently had a set of Toyo Proxes 4 tires installed on the cobra, and would like to know if they are any good or not. I've pretty much been on Nitto 555E on all my cars for so long i haven't a clue about other brands. I wanted goodyear gsd3's but they were so expensive it wasn't worth it. I liked the nittos but they didn't have any in stock at the time and the last set didn't even last a year, which was an oddity compared to the others i've had which last 18 mos to 2 years on average, so opted to try something different.

Without doing a harsh launch to melt rubber, they seem to dance around a bit instead of the grab of the nitto extremes. For driving to and from work, the proxes seem to do the job, just would like others opinions before i make a decision whether to keep them or not. (they have a 500 mile trial period where i can exchange them if not happy)
I figure either i can either go back to the nittos i like, and pay a bit extra, or keep these and opt for a pair of Nitto 555R's for occasional use, think i'd go with the 315s if i went for a 2nd set.
Willing to listen to input on the tires, good or bad.
