Default Re: auto-x and road race people, what are you doing for your alignments specs

If you guys get larger sway bars, you dont need as much of a spring to keep the car level in the turns. I have K-sports and the car is actually quite comfortable and with the saners, the body roll is almost insignificant. Out on the highway, I can do slaloms aroundslower traffic at triple digits and the car is perfectly controllable. It feels like a go-kart. These cars love alot of camber, but since I run it on the street, I have it set to -.5 in the front to counter the wear I get on the front edge of the tire and also to help them last a long time. I left the back at 0. I have to recommend that you guys who go for better pads up front, put the same compound in the back. Under hard braking and emergency maneuvers, the stock rear pads will lock up first which can cause the rear to swing around.
