Just what I was going to say.... First thing my photog instructor told us. "its as important to photograph whats behind the subject, as the subject itself."
Might help to crop it down to at least below the big hunk attached to the post? (Same with the legs under the 3000, as mentioned)
Imagine how good that Red 3K picture would look with the same emptiness beside it as in the following Lotus pic.

Love that 3K/helmet pic, but the extraneous stuff takes away from it a bit.
