Default Re: tranny is going crazy!!!!..... help

try changing the oil. doubt it would work but your oil might be a little frazzled, just to edit this post abit....

get on to IPT import power transmissions and buy an oil filter and pencil filter for your tranny, both easy to fit but before you do, if your oil is shot you need to flush the system including the oil cooler which is part of your rad. the pencil filter fits in the rubber hose on the oil cooler pipe ontop of the gearbox.

flush with something like parafin or similar but make sure you do this soley to the rad and not the gearbox. once the oil cooler is showing clear fill the gearbox with new oil and engine flush loop the oil cooler pipe back from outlet to inlet start the car work the shift from p>low back to park for 2 mins and drain.

remover gearbox sump and pan filter. replace with new filter. replace pencil filter connect oil cooler back up fasten sump bolts make sure of no leaks. fill gearbox with atx fluid run the sequence agan and dip the oil with engine running and in either P or N . top up untill right level. and try the car on the road.

this is the simple solution. hard solution and possible cause is that the clutch packs have burnt out and foul'd up the sensors.
