Same here...
I basically stick to Av (my "general everything" mode), Tv (for pans), and Sports mode (for still frames of moving subjects).
I'm gonna have to try my CPL filter some time. I have filters but haven't really gotten into using them yet (other than the "lens protector" filter
). I did some night shots of cars last weekend (TX2K8 Supra meet) and some reduction in glare spots would have been handy.
