these standard E85 cars out there are a cruel joke on the owners. those of us with the ability to tune in the extra fuel and timing to take advantage of it....no joke.

Understood and on our pre-2000 model year cars that aren't flex fuel designed, we don't have stainless steel fuel lines or a lined fuel tank or chromed or stainless fuel rail. I always thought that any CH3OH or other alcohol based fuels were corrosive to aluminum, plain steel and to the seals in the fuel contact areas?
I believe that only , is it Buna type seals? are the type that are safe for alcohol based fuels and I am not sure what Mitsu uses in the factory for our cars. Viton seals aren't as resistant.
