Bumping this thread cause I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier bro!

There isn't anything more rejuvenating than going through one's old work and remembering how good it felt, even though we might want to pick it apart since we are all our own worst critic. And while it doesn't make much sense, but years away from the pad can be the best thing for the development of a pair of eyes- rehashing the same old battles over and over again, especially when we're young, get us nowhere. Maturing mentally helps us do the same as artists, and gives a lot in the way of patience when it comes to the relearning.

I especially appreciate the femur and the unfinished architecture for the technical aspects. There are certain portions of the building that could really stand alongside a photograph in a mixed-media work, and the shadow and detail on the bone show that you've got the delicate technique to make it work. And you've certainly got the photographer in house to get the inspiration from...
