Go BPU for like $2000 (maybe $3500 if you want wheels/cfds) and invest the other $14000 in smart things. Like 401k, debt, investments, etc.

Look at the "Cars for sale / I'm getting the fuck out of VR4s (also known as General)" forum... you aren't going to EVER get that $8000 back. Hell you probably won't get to drive the car all that much again, lol.
