Looking at their schedule, it doesn't look like they even have drag racing on April 18th (Friday), but only on Sunday the 20th.
In past years, we have gone to the track; one year it was cancelled due to rain when we had rented the track.
Can one of you guys call them, at (302) 875-1911, and ask if there will be dragracing that Friday night, and if there's no other regularly scheduled event, ask how much it would cost to rent the track for "just us"? If we did that, it might be worthwhile to invite another club to help share the cost, and give us some competition. |
WOW, they told me to rent the track for 4 hours Friday night would be $750.00 and that would only cover SIX cars. We could only go up to 14 cars but even that would be an additional $50 PER CAR over the first six. That is only test n tune runs, actual side by side runs would cost even more because of track insurance.
