Re: Intake temperature?
i've got a bunch of old logs from when i was bpu, and right after putting the phantoms on. can't remember if i have any with the stock airbox on or not. one thing that i always found interesting, the longer you stay on the throttle, the air going into the mas actually rises in temp, even as you increase in speed. graphed with temp as the Y axis, and time as the X axis, it sorta looks like a U, or a check mark. i could post up some of that if it would help at all. it was so long ago that i can't remember any exact temps outside, but could guestimate based on date logged and time of day (night, winter, in ohio, etc).
and i don't have my car here in florida yet, but will soon. and i know i have the stock airbox still. it wouldn't be much to do a couple pulls back to back with the different filters once it's all here. stock hood though (which i know is what you're looking for).
