Hey yea, ive got the D3. This is my first post on here and ive been on for about a year and a half. But yes, i made my own trim ring along with completely redying the carpet, rear set delete with fiberglass sub box and a bunch of other stuff. Its a great unit, ill take some pics here tomorrow and shoot them your way. I really like it the like 5 days ive had it. Ive got the sirius tuner and my ipod hooked up and i bypassed the video. As far as the bypass goes and any other really important info go to avic411.com. Great site. You will need to find the VSS wire and the backup light wire because the unit bases your travel off speed forwards and backwards. That site has alot of info. You can do so much with that unit.
