Ok, I'm very very new to tuning, and still fairly new to the 3S platform. I recently installed 16T turbos and 450 injectors.. I went with the GenII as I was told it was far superior to the regular translator, and that the regular translator had a tendency to drift, and would need to be constantly retuned.. Got all the wires installed, and I think the GM MAF I have is no good, it was a used one I got off ebay that was supposed to be good... but whatever.. car had a hard time starting and almost impossible time staying running, especially if I touched the gas pedal, it died.. So I went back to the stock MAS and configured the GenII for the stock mas.. The only thing I could really get out of some stuff I read last night was to set the main scale to a negative number to accomodate the larger injectors... While driving I got it to around -15% and it seemed to lean out quite a bit and was giving around 14 or so on the WB.. Other than that, I'm really at a loss with the rest of the features. My main concern with getting the translator was to obviously bring my AF ratio back to normal, and also raise my fuel cut limit. I know I'm probably asking alot.. but... Any idea what kind of settings I should start with?? It seemed to be running pretty well at -15% on the main scale and when I touched the afterstart (as I thought I would need to adjust this as I was running a little lean at idle with my mainscale -15 to -17%) so I jumped that up to 0.2 and it seemed to lean out fairly well, but threw a CEL. Like I said, I have almost no idea where to go here, I flipped through all the features last night with a giant ??? above my head... thanks.. and feel free to smack me around a bit!
