well seeing as were are talking of the swap in a 3000GT, I think a Diamante would be a useless comparison

bang for the buck, having a car that is pretty much stock (no added items under the hood, just a replacement engine) that has a LOT fatter power band, and is just as reliable as the stock setup... sounds pretty good to me

power numbers do NOT end at just peak, you need to keep in mind the complete power band, and a 3.5 has a little help down low with the extra displacement

I have installed a "couple" of 3.5's in 3S's turbo AND non-turbo, and it is a very worth while mod on both. this is not "hearsay" this is MY experience (not something I read on the Internet or on a message board) with them, there is no replacement for displacement, and increasing the displacement by a half a liter on a 3.0 is a HUGE increase
