1st gens (OBD-I) have a lot of options to choose from when it comes to datalogging. HHH is a good choice. So is MMCD.

OBD-IIs on the other hand have limited options. The OBD-II version of HHH has a very slow data sampling rate and AFIK doesn't log knock so it's pretty useless on an OBD-II.

Evoscan has a decent data sampling rate and logs knock. Plus it can log boost, EGT and Wideband AFR since it offers the option to integrate Innovate or Zeitronix products. For us OBD-II owners, Evoscan is a blessing.
