Default Re: NA 3.5L discussion

Thanks for the replies. Finally got this thread moving some. I'm glad to hear that the 72 ECU will be fine. That way I have a nice base map to tune off of. I think a really nice gain will be found once I get it installed and tweaked with the Emanage.

So if what I'm hearing is right, then fwdtt guys who didn't swap to the TT engine may not have the best bang for the buck mod(just kidding I know TT is "better"). If an auto 74 will hang with a stock vr4 somewhat. That means it's well worth not having to worry about 10:1TT@6-8psi and the reliability issues that may arise. Also if I wanted to to I can still TT it and have a fwd beast with no traction.

I can't wait till the new year comes around and I can get this going.

Also one last thing... if the engine is the same, what gives the Debonair more power than the Pajaro? Considering the 72 ECU works with both? Or will the 72 ECU level the playing field? Sorry if it has been stated, but I need to figure it out 100% before I start this project.
