The pajero motor I got was already 10:1 compression. Stock ECU holds it just fine. What other power adders is he planning on running, doesn't look like any.
His question is can he drop the motor in and will he need a new ECU or a piggyback unit as I understand it. The answer is no, he will not. Just drop the motor in and it should run just great, because that's what I did.
I give the stock TT STL guys a run for their money, and it I wasn't ATX, it would probably be even crazier!
Now unless you are running some weird set up with turbo's or supercharger or something where you need to be messing with your Air/Fuel ratios or timing or whatever, then you won't need anything else. And since we are in the NON-TURBO ENGINE forum, I'm assuming he's not talking about power adders.
EDIT:
Alot more of the rest of your power is going to come from your intake and exhaust system. K&N FIPK, Downpipe and exhaust will probably get you more bang for your buck then playing around with an AFC.
