Re: ProwlerGT's 3000GT Revival Thread - Start Up
sorry for the late reply. i'm definitely down for coming out the last weekend of the month. this weekend i came back to Dallas to do some work on a member's car. we changed the oil pump, water pump, all timing parts, did the VSS...and even changed all the bearings after finding copper sparkles all in the oil pan. anywho, so i'm driving back Tuesday. i'll pack all my tools in my car and i'll be complete as a man, once again, LOL. (when i die, i think i'd like to be buried with my tools.) but sure, i can help you replace the rack and do the A/C work if you want. i'm not very familiar with the A/C system, but i know the general idea of the system and how its supposed to work. as for the old steering rack, the worst thing that could happen would be for the fluid to leak out, in which case it would only be difficult to steer below 20 mph. your forearms would get huge in no time!
so i'm down for this weekend. i work saturday 7-3, so i could come out in the afternoon. just let me know. otherwise i'll spend all weekend playing Halo 3 which is released tuesday night at 12:01am.
