Default Re: ---===The Official MAFT-Pro Thread===---

Hey guys, I just bought a wideband and hooked it to my maftpro. Im ready to start tuning my TT conversion, however I have absolutely NO tuning experience and unfortunately nobody to show me the ropes. Right now everything seems overwhelming and I definately don't want my tuning inexperience to cost me a motor. Can someone give me some pointers? Iv tried reading up online but theres just soo much information I can't sort the applicable stuff from the non applicalble.

Do I basically keep an eye on my wideband signal throughout my RPM range at different loads and add fuel accordingly? Iv read that the most efficient A/F ratio is 14.7:1, however I get a feeling that I probably want to stay a little on the rich side of that number. Do I want different A/f ratios depending on different loads?? Does anyone know of a good thread or website where I can read and try to teach myself the basics?

Sorry for the stupid post, im just trying to get some help with this.
