I quicky read through this but you said there was a bolt and washer stuck in the valves??Is this on the heads you used? Did you check for bent valves? Also I had a problem with my clutch pedal staying on the floor when I did my 5spd conversion.I finally got it bled out and it worked fine. When I did the TT 5spd conversion I used the NA hydrolics and it worked so if you have problems use the NA slave with the TT hardlines and bracket.If you can't get it to adjust you may have knocked the fork off of the pivot ball when you installed it.
