I'm sure your right about them not being called MR gears if you wanna be correct about it. But back in the day when I remember the fist GB for them, they were called JDM MR gears. It was probably a missnomer, but thats the name they got stuck with here in the states. And if you call them MR gears, people will know what your talking about at least. I have the JDM gearing in my transmission and the USDM 5 speed rear diff in my car too to make everything work correctly. MR gear, or JDM conversion, whatever, it is the same thing. Its kinda like how we call a front clip everything from the dash forward, but the GM guys call the front bumper the front clip. Anyway, I'm glad more information was given by people who posted after me.

Sept 20th Got my AEM ECU, 3.5 bar sensor, IAT sensor. Now I need to learn to tune my car. Should be fun. Assistance with that project is welcome.
