Default Re: -= Ultimate Emanage Tuning Thread =-

hi all, one question about water temp adjustment map and ECU.

i checked informations about warm up and compensation for water cooling temp.
i wonder if the 3000GT ECU is fonctionning as AEM EMS, but on AEM, the warm up and idle seems to be in open loop during a time depending of water temp.
after this time, the closed loop is made ( feedback O² ) and the EMS keep a A/F made by the user.

so, if the ECU work in the same way of the AEM ( the ECU always read water temp and adjust IPW in consequence ),
playing with the "water temp adjustment map" should be just for warm up and idle, no ?

the compensation for water temp when running, should be done by the " speed compensation map".
the increasing of speed, result a decrease of water temp.

what do you think about water adjustment ?
is it needed to compensate at high speed ?

thank's
fred
