When my car goes down the dragstrip, when I shift, you do not hear any loss of boost.... it holds because the shift is so fast. That is a big advantage. You barely see the boost gauge drop a half pound.
Most of the fastest cars in the world, drag cars, etc, are a form of ATX, as machines and computers do it better than humans.

you dont lose boost because the throttle doesnt close. most of the fastest cars are sequentially shifted or air shifted manuals wtih slipping clutches.
3sx...dont you mean to say you bought an IPT trans and then reverse engineered it so you can build your own now?
