Re: ---===The Official MAFT-Pro Thread===---
Had the IAT hanging out by the air filters, but today I tapped the Y pipe and installed the IAT just before the BOV. (Had a thick plate welded in there to plug the stock BOV hole, and it was plenty thick enough to hold threads) Idle seems alot better so far. Will find out more tomorrow on a completely cold startup. The hang time on idle isn't the dashpot, I dont think. If I'm cruising along at say 30 MPH, and push in the clutch, the RPMs hang constantly just above 2k. When the vehicle speed drops down low enough, like when I'm coming to a stop, the idle won't hang like that. Something related to vehicle speed is making the ECU keep the RPMs hanging like that. I have to install some jumper wires on the harness so the ECU thinks the ABS is working, and see if that helps. Other than that, I'm very happy with the system so far.
