Default Re: Automatic drag car

We run an AWD auto at 3SX. As far as I know, we are the only ones to take the auto to the drag strip. With the auto in the car Chris ran a world record holding 9.666 and has gotten a couple of 1.3X 60' times. We originally went through IPT for the auto work but with everything we have learned, are now doing it in house. Or I should say, I am doing it in house. For the hard core drag racer, I believe that the auto is the way to go. Although we have desided to go a different route than IPT for the torque convertor. But before we start naming off all kinds of parts, what are your goals for this car?
