check this thread what is the limitation of the stock MAS?

in it mellon gave his gtech times over time with both the Maft and stock MAS, stock and various stages of gutting the meshes to completely gutted.

Look at those numbers and see how his traps improved by gutting the stock MAS. If I am not mistaken he is still planning on running the stock MAS.

I am going to venture out there and say that the fastest setups using the stock MAS have this mod done to them and if that is not enough information run on over to the DSM side of things since they have the same MAS and they have been doing this mod for years with good results.

As for me, I don't have the most sensitive but dyno. I am no Matt M, I don't tune by the seat of my pants BUT, even with my highly insensitive but dyno I picked up a major POSITIVE reading. The car is moving better than ever and this weekend I plan on replacing the slave/master cylinder to help my shifting and replace all fluids with a Royal Purple derivative and then let Vic tune it for me with a wideband.
