I never have a problem stopping with my brakes. Usually after a pass I'll slow down to 85-90, throw it in 6th, and let it coast down. The stock computer kills the fuel in that situation and the engine will dump whatever heat is in it as quickly as possible.

So yeah...I don't see a need to upgrade my brakes any more than I already have (prterfield pads & cryoed rotors). Granted I'm over 400 pounds lighter than the 4000 lb (with driver) stock setup they were designed for and I'm just drag racing. One hard stop every 40 minutes isn't a big deal.

Well...actually...one of the only things I still want is Wilwood ultralight rotors and aluminum hats (direct replacement for the heavy stock rotors). But nobody has marketed a set with a sane price yet. I'm a litle concerned that the ultralights will be too light for street use but I'd be willing to try them and step up to something heavier if they complain.
