Re: Hard start when hot
I have the same problem, although its not as severe as yours. In my case, its because the my car isn't holding full fuel pressure once the car is shut off. I haven't been able to track down the source of the pressure loss.
My problem was as bad as yours until I tore apart my entire fuel system. I checked all of my lines and I even tested my fuel pump for leak back using bucket of water and I couldn't find any leaks. Once I reinstalled everything the problem had more or less fixed itself. My car holds pressure when its off, but just not full pressure.
If I were you, I'd pull your fuel pump and make sure its not leaking around the fuel pickup - fuel pump connection. There are o-rings in there that can leak which will result in pressure loss/leak back. You can check to see if its leaking using a bucket of water.
