We've had some nice weather here so I've been able to drive the car around a little. I updated to 4.80 and tuned a little and my maft-pro related problems are pretty much gone. It idles solid and smooth at 800 RPMs which is a dramatic improvement over a rough idle at 1100 RPMs. It doesn't go into decel mode nearly as easily as it used to. I expected it to be much worse with 720cc injectors. It accelerates smoother, takes off from a stop easier, and doesn't try to stall when I step on the gas. It's as close to stock drivablity as possible with 720ccs and a spec 3+ clutch. I can't wait to get into timing control this summer.

I'm happy.

DR1000's, FMIC, MAFT-PRO speed density, 720 cc, supra pump with hotwire, Fuellab FPR, billet rails, ported heads, 1mm over intake and 1 mm over iconel exhaust valves. spec 3+ clutch, fidenza flywheel, 2 piece Al driveshaft, Supercar baffled oil pan, relocated battery, custom exhaust, reinforced bellhousing, 3sx poly motor mounts, intrax with GR-2, lots' of little things.
